I have started the second year of my Early Years Degree...its a daunting task but i am enthusiastic.

Phil has been successfully registered as my assistant. He is a popular attraction at Seedlings!

The allotment has been put to bed for the winter. The pumpkins have been particularly good this year - some have been too heavy for me to carry. We are looking forward to some good carving fun for Halloween!

2nd August 2011

Having successfully completed the first year of my Early Years Degree I know hold the Certificate in Early Years Practice. I am now able to call myself Mandy Salt CertEYP (Open). I will be continuing the degree in October when i start the second year. Thank you to all my children and parents who have been wonderfully supportive. Thank you to Phil too, he has been a rock.

I have started my Early Years Degree with the Open University. It will take me about four years to complete. I know the children in my care as well as me will gain from my studies. Wish me luck!

I have recently had my first OFSTED inspection and my result was...

GOOD with an outstanding feature.

The inspector was here for 3.5 hours and we had a lovely time in the garden. I have to thank the children who were wonderful, parents who were interviewed by the inspector and my wonderful husband Phil who has been an absolute rock in helping me achieve this fantastic grade on my first inspection.
